Daniel Moult (organ)About
In the first solo recording of the restored William Hill organ in Arundel Cathedral, Daniel Moult performs a wide-ranging and virtuoso programme demonstrating the full tonal resources of the instrument, including works by mainstream composers Liszt, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Handel and Saint-Saëns, as well as some attractive recent works by established British composers.
Included are the first recordings of W T Best’s arrangement of Handel’s Organ Concerto No.4 in F and Derek Bourgeois’ Variations on a theme by Herbert Howells.
Daniel Moult, “one of the finest organists of our time” (The Organ), is renowned in the UK and abroad for virtuosic, intelligent and engaging performances of repertoire from the 14th to the 21st centuries. As a concert artist, Daniel performs throughout the UK, Europe, Australia and Singapore. As a soloist he has appeared in major series in various UK cathedrals, churches, concert halls and town halls.
