This 3 CD set presents recordings by the master classical guitarist Julian Bream, one of the outstanding musical personalities of the 20th century. Bream is a leading figure in guitar and lute music.
These recordings, made from 1956 to 1960, include lute songs by John Dowland, alongside works by J S Bach, Scarlatti, Frescobaldi, Albéniz, Ravel, Rodrigo and Berkeley. Also featured is the renowned ensemble The Golden Age Singers.
