Pianists François Mardirossian and Thibaut Crassin have always been in love with the music of their time, interpreting in duo or solo unbridled repertoires made of the compositional inventions of Luc Ferrari, Philip Glass, Moondog, Alan Hovhaness, Frédéric Lagnau and Federico Mompou. For this first recording, the two musicians dexterously combine textures that surprise the listener from the first sounds, playing with the repertoire like a trompe-l'oeil. Minimalist? Conceptual?
