About
Samuel Pepys (1633-1703) pondered the difference between dreaming and waking in his personal diary, which the English Member of the House of Commons, Secretary of State of the Royal Navy and passionate amateur musician kept during the years 1660-1669. Among other things, he played the lute and noted on Thursday, 16 April 1668, that he had begun to learn the recorder, the sound of which attracted him the most "of all the sounds in the world."
Artistic excellence, instrumental and vocal diversity, captivating expression. Iris Lichtinger is an outstanding flautist, singer, vocal artist, and pianist. She represents the model of a universal artist who recognises music as a perfect language, and has the ability to make all that is essential perceptible and understandable for anyone and everyone - this is her artistic credo. As a highly expressive performer not only does she concertise internationally, but also brings her artistic expertise to numerous projects as a dedicated curator and artistic director.
