About
The Romance by Dvořák is full of the composer’s melodic inventiveness and optimism. By contrast, Suk’s Four Pieces are pervaded with sadness, reflecting several important losses in his life. Bartok’s Rhapsody is full of the rhythmic drive associated with the Hungarian folk music that constantly inspired his musical output.
