About
Perhaps as a result of the incredible popularity of the operas of Rossini, Donizetti and Verdi, Italian instrumental music of the 19th century has been largely ignored. This new album allows us to discover an incredibly rich and varied repertoire of rarely heard pieces by a series of mostly forgotten composers who were working in the different regions of Italy during this period.
