For years the question was always "Where are these compositions now?", and then in 1992 a previously unknown collection of manuscripts came to light, including these sonatas, which was sold to a private collector who gave Thomas Fritzsch permission to perform them.
The story comes full circle with them being released on this Coviello CD.
