ArtistsMythos Accordion Duo
This stunning new transcription by Mythos of Stravinsky’s Petrushka has to be heard to be believed – marvel at the amazing sounds that emanate from these two accordions!
Mythos (Bjarke Mogensen and Rasmus Schjærff Kjøller) are performing these works regularly in concerts and the Duo has recently made its Carnegie Hall debut in the USA.
“Of course, we knew the fully orchestrated, brilliant score of Stravinsky's Petrouchka intimately in advance, but until today I for one had no idea as to the wealth of worlds those notes could express, what span, musically and narratively, this composition could cover. Mythos' shimmering, colourful and eternally suggestive Petroushka transcended its arrangement, no less” - Michael Bo (Politiken)
