About
The two pianists-sisters Katia and Marielle Labeque are famous for their energy and intensely close bond they form when playing as a duo. They reached international fame with their contemporary reading of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, in the original version that Gershwin intended for two pianos.
Their legendary album, one of the first classical records to achieve gold sales status in 1980, today returns to the catalogue at a reduced price on the Decca label.
