Once again, the Ensemble Mixtura is taking listeners on an exciting journey. The two musicians Katharina Bäuml (shawms)and Margit Kern (accordion) have already presented two successful CDs on Genuin. And this time, too, they perform an extremely exciting balancing act between the centuries: the Sybilline Prophecies of Orlando di Lasso are contrasted with commissioned compositions by Karin Haußmann, Annette Schlünz and Babette Koblenz which reflect, supplement, contradict and continue Early Music.
