Daccapo Italian Harpsichord DuoAbout
Baroque composers had the advantage of being able to write important works for Leipzig, where music had a new impulse thanks to the Collegium Musicum directed by George Philip Telemann from 1701.
In the present recording we can listen to compositions for the peculiar duo of two harpsichords performed by the Daccapo Italian Harpsichord Duo (Luigi Accardo and Enrico Bissolo). The duo was created to offer the original literature written for two keyboard instruments, such as the majestic works by Johann Sebastian Bach and his sons, but also works by musicians such as Telemann, Krebs, Schaffrath, Mozart, Cherubini and contemporary composers.
