Yundi (piano)About
Among the most enduring of Chopin’s compositions are his Four Ballades. A pioneer of the form, the dramatic and dance-like qualities of his style went on to influence composers such as Liszt and Brahms. Other pieces include Chopin’s exquisite Berceuse, op.57 (a beautifully hypnotic lullaby) and the Four Mazurkas, op.17, a set of Polish folk dances. This is Yundi’s first recorded interpretation of these works.
