The Ascension Oratorio (BWV 11) is one of Bach's rarely played choralworks. Conductor Felix Koch, the Gutenberg-Kammerchor, and the Neumeyer Consort, as well as hand-picked young soloists, combine it with two further cantatas of the Thomaskantor (BWV 34 & 37), forming an intensely radiant baroque musical tableaux.
