About
The CD contains 12 compositions by the great Greek composer some of which were written during the Papadopoulos dictatorship in the years 1967-74. In his exile, Theodorakis had rearranged texts of his own and texts of other modern Greek poets.
The songs are timeless, lyrical, yet also political and have lost none of their relevance: 'I was fortunate to work with outstanding poets so that the texts and messages of my songs can be regarded as timeless' (Mikis Theodorakis).
