3D: Everything that is created when three women, three instruments and three personalities come together. Six composers have set to work creating new compositions to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Triotique: their works are presented here, with one of Triotique’s favourite pieces to round off the CD.

All of the pieces on this new recording are world premiere recordings. Triotique is a young and enthusiastic trio with a particular fondness for contemporary classical music. Sisters Elke Elsen (transverse flute) and Frauke Elsen (oboe) are in perfect harmony and balanced masterfully by Margot Welleman (piano). Their mission is combining high musical quality with originality, interaction, and a healthy dose of guts, in order to reach as wide an audience as possible.
