About
Now, these new Doppler 'Discoveries' are also so attractive that the most eminent representative of the current flute scene, Emmanuel Pahud, enthusiastically agreed to help record them. With their highly appealing musical effects, the Doppler brothers have thus managed to create a bridge between two leading flautists of their respective generations.
Emmanuel Pahud is French-Swiss by birth and Berliner-by-choice. Soloist, chamber musician and orchestral musician (principal flautist with the Berlin Philharmonic), he is a charismatic, enthusiastic and long-acclaimed musician!
András Adorján was born in Budapest, grew up in Copenhagen, and is resident in Munich. He is highly-gifted flautist with diploma in dentistry. Since his well-earned retirement, András Adorján has done only the things he wants to, including looking for and discovering forgotten and lost works, editing them and playing them again and again and again...
Jan Philip Schulze is an established Lied accompanist, and an outstanding interpreter of contemporary music and teacher. He has a rather full professional schedule, but was delighted to put several things aside for the Doppler Discoveries with Emmanuel and András.
