Peter Whelan is among the most exciting and versatile exponents of historical performance of his generation, having forged a remarkable career as conductor, keyboardist and virtuoso bassoonist. Whelan is Artistic Director of Irish Baroque Orchestra and founding Artistic Director of Ensemble Marsyas.
