About
Milk & Sugar led the charge of vocal house from Germany two decades ago and became deeply influential on the house music scene ever since. In 2017, Mike K and Steven Harding celebrated 20 years of creating some of the world’s most innovative house music tracks. Their catalogue includes many global hits, such as their vocal anthem “Higher & Higher”, or the all-time classic “Let the Sun Shine”, that reached a no.1 position in the US-Billboard Dance & Airplay charts.
Over the past several years, Milk & Sugar have continued to supply dancefloors with a steady stream of powerful hits, serving both as sought-after re-mixers and as creators of uniquely original productions. Their releases have been played and supported by names like David Morales, Dennis Ferrer or the “Godfather of House Music”, Frankie Knuckles, and by all different kinds of house music loving DJs around the globe.
The Münchner Symphoniker (Munich Symphony Orchestra) gave their first concert in September 1945, just a few months after the end of World War II and in a massively destroyed city of Munich. The orchestra quickly became a fixed part of the city’s rich musical landscape.
Nowadays the orchestra presents about 100 concerts every year – at home in Bavaria, but also on tour and at festivals. Its stylistic versatility and the masterful work of its musicians enables a repertoire ranging from baroque to classical and romantic works, all the way to operetta, opera and film music, and from classical modernism to the 21st century.
Traditionally, the orchestra’s concerts offer a forum for outstanding musicians of the younger generation. Furthermore, renowned soloists and conductors create memorable highlights during every concert season.
