About
The ‘Ars moriendi’ - the ‘art of dying’ - is a term that appears again and again in the Middle Ages. Especially Oswald von Wolkenstein, but also other minnesingers, deal with the dwindling strength and the physical decay at the end of life. And most of all, the poets are always concerned with their personal fear of the afterlife.
