Benjamin LevyAbout
“We first heard Vivaldi’s Four Seasons before we even learned to speak; and the sound of the violin forms part of our earliest memories. It feels as if we always knew that we would return to this repertoire someday, that we would immerse ourselves in our childhood happiness. Vivaldi paved the way for all modern music with his work, and if we listen carefully, we find its harmonies in all pop music today.
“It’s hard to close an album if personal then we decided to record four more tracks. These are three movements from Vivaldi’s L’estro armónico – which we love since we started the violin – as well as ‘Falling’ a modern free invention that we created with Laurent Marimbert, drawing inspiration from harmonies of ‘Spring’ from the Four Seasons.
“This album means everything to us, We’ve had it in our hearts for a long time. It’s a sensation to record these notes which never left us. We hope it conveys our emotions and hope that our creations will touch your heart.
“This text must also be concluded, and now the album is yours, make good use of it. It is not ours anymore. We wish her a good life because music is extraordinary: it crosses borders and time. It brings souls together.”
