About
This is a unique album: a collection of French arias of early 19th-century New Orleans. New Orleans was one of the first cities in the U.S. to have a major operatic scene. The French influence in New Orleans was extremely strong, and hence had a major impact upon the arts there. New Orleans is noted from its 19th-century French Opera House.
