This album collects some premičre recordings by a composer who for too long has been considered an expression of jazz music alone. It is a tribute to an artist able to blend diff erent genres in his compositions and combine the experiences of giants of the classical repertoire such as Bach and Debussy, with those of Bartók and Ligeti. He himself, with his phrase "This is...music", seems do not want to categorise his compositions either in one or in another genre.
