About

The Russian pianist Olga Kirpicheva, who has been living in France since 2013, is among the most promising young pianists of her generation. Passionately attached to the Russian and French repertoires, she is a reference interpreter of these two musical schools. Olga began studying piano and flute at the age of 5, and her international career took off at age 11, when she was invited to the Vladimir Spivakov International Festival in Colmar, France.

Olga was a prize-winner in numerous international competitions, such as the Concertino Praga International Radio Competition for Young Musicians, Czech Republic (First Prize), "La Palma d'Oro" Concorso Pianistico, Italy (Second Prize), the Piano Campus Festival International Competition, France ("Denis Antoine" Prize of the AVC Charity Foundation), the International Joseph Haydn Competition in Vienna, Austria (Second Prize) and the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition, Australia (Second Prize). As a much in demand soloist and chamber musician, Olga Kirpicheva performs in some of the most prestigious venues throughout the world, such as the Grande salle Pierre Boulez of the Paris Philharmonie, the Louvre Auditorium, the salle Gaveau, the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris, Flagey in Brussels, the Melbourne Recital Centre, the Haydn Saal in Vienna and the Rudolfinum Hall in Prague. She has also been a guest at the festivals of La Roque-d'Anthéron, the Festival de l'Orangerie de Sceaux, the Ravel Festival in Monfort l'Amaury, Les Folles Journée de Nantes en region and the festival of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels.
