About
The three works with the largest instrumentation are the title work Die fragmentierte Wahrnehmung ('The Fragmented Perception'), Concertino no.1 for flute and ensemble and Concertino No. 2 for clarinet and ensemble. Also included are the Piano Trio no.2, the Trios for Soprano, Violin and Piano no.1 and no.2 and the Duo for Flute and Violoncello no.2.
The CD concludes with the solo work Marmamorais, dedicated to the flautist Claudia Weissbarth, who also recorded it for this CD.
In Die fragmentierte Wahrnehmung and the two trios, René Wohlhauser has set his own poems to music.
