About
Taking inspiration from this, the programme is rounded out by a contrasting selection of pieces quoted in Zimmermann’s work: via this inner connection, compositions by Bach and Debussy, creatively arranged for two pianos and percussion by Johannes Xaver Schachtner, and a Mozart arrangement by the Neeb Piano Duo enter into a unique dialogue.
Together with percussionists Christian Benning and Patrick Stapleton, the Neeb Piano Duo explore surreal dream worlds that are at once playfully light and enigmatically profound.
