Hailed for his world premiere recordings, classical pianist Fabio Banegas has been internationally recognised by music critics and the wider media. He has released recordings for Naxos and Guild Music in the UK. Among his accolades are the Special Prize of the Mozarteum Santa Fe competition (Argentina) and the Redfield Award of the Philharmonic Society of Orange County (United States). He holds academic degrees in music from the National University of Rosario (UNR) in Argentina and California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) in the United States. Fabio Banegas has performed as a recitalist and as a soloist in the United States, Argentina and Europe, and has appeared in several Hollywood film and TV productions as a pianist. He also studied journalism at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
