Iona Brown gives and arrestingly vibrant account of a piece [Bartok Divertimento] that can sound dour but here is life-enhancing. The concentration is matched with playing of virtuosity and warmth and demonstration-standard sound of great presence.[Janacek] ... their playing is vibrant, full of enthusiasm and vitality, and yet finding also a touching nostalgia in the slow sections of the Idyll and an even more subtle and haunting espressivo in the two lovely Adagios of the Suite.
