About

Martin Setchell has recorded a programme of English music by composers who have a strong association with the county of Shropshire. The programme, which will appeal to a wide audience, includes a specially composed piece by Paul Spicer.

Martin Setchell regularly performs throughout the world, delighting audiences with his entertaining programmes. The fine 53-stop organ at St Laurence's Parish Church in Ludlow still retains 14 ranks and the elegant front case from the original Snetzler organ of 1764. This is the first recording of the organ since the recent revisions carried out by the firm of Nicholson’s.
