'Codeax I' is a live recording released here for the first time. 'Another heavenly day' takes its title from Samuel Beckett’s play Happy Days in which the character is buried up to her waist in sand throughout the drama.
This is Elision’s second Richard Barrett recording on NMC. Their first was Transmission (NMC D117) - a series of virtuosic solo works exploring the limits of acoustic instruments.
