About

Ernest Blanc was very popular at the Paris Opera and was known for his warm timbre, brilliant attack and exemplary diction. He was engaged by most of the great opera houses and festivals and made his Bayreuth debut in 1958.

These studio and live recordings date from 1954-1961.
