About
Although Marco Enrico Bossi’s chamber music is mostly inspired by that of Johannes Brahms and composers of the German “Late Romantic” period, later works like the “Santa Caterina da Siena - Little Poem for Violin and Piano”, which was written in 1924 a few months prior to his death, are very evocative and often recall the soft fluidity of the sound world of Debussy and Ravel. The “Little Poem” is divided in seven parts and goes through the most important episodes in the life of Saint Caterina, culminating in her triumphal ascent into heaven.
