Hans RosbaudAbout
With the exception of two pieces by Debussy composed in the 1890s, this present anthology of French orchestral repertoire comprises compositions from the 20th century, featuring Ravel’s Ma Mère l’Oye, Ibert’s Le Chevalier errant and Messiaen’s Chronochromie alongside works by French-Swiss composer Honegger, member of the legendary Groupe des Six, and Bucharest-born Mihalovici, who, like Honegger, studied composition under the traditionalist Vincent d’Indy.
